This is often in spite of their transaction fees, which are manageable for smaller volumes.  There’s a pattern in customer reviews mentioning poor customer service, complex software that continues to grow more complicated, and issues with Square withholding large amounts of money for up to seven days, impacting immediate access to a business's bank account funds or ability to use a debit card for purchases.
