Toast’s Product Lifetime Policy

At Toast, we are driven by a passion to build products uniquely designed for restaurants so they can do what they love and thrive. As part of this mission, we want to ensure that all Toast customers have, and continue to have, the best technology for their restaurant that allows them to remain successful in today’s rapidly evolving hospitality market. 

To uphold this promise, Toast is introducing a Product Lifetime Policy to ensure we are supporting our customers at all times. The Toast Product Lifetime Policy states that Toast will support its products for 3 years post its standard warranty. Toast products are fully covered within a standard warranty period. Once the warranty on your product expires, Toast will continue to support your product for another 3 years. During this time, your Toast product will be fully supported by our team with access to troubleshooting and automated software, firmware, and security updates pushed directly to your device. 

At the end of these 3 years, you can still continue to use your hardware and access Toast Customer Care 24/7/365. However, your product may no longer receive new feature enhancements and automatic software, firmware, security, and bug fix updates. At this time, we recommend you upgrade to one of our newer Toast product offerings in order to ensure you have the best technology for your business.
