Toast, the rapidly growing POS system company founded in Massachusetts, was named as a finalist for MassTLC's Innovative Mobile Tech of the Year Award and BostInno's Coolest Companies competition yesterday. The Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council gathered on July 19 to announce finalists for their technology leadership awards. The awards shine a spotlight on the best of the region's internationally respected tech industry in 16 categories. Toast was named a finalist in the Innovative Technology of the Year: Mobile category, and Toast co-founder Aman Narang was named a finalist in the Emerging Executive of the Year category.
MassTLC award finalists were selected from hundreds of nominations and judged by panels of industry leaders relevant to each respective category. “The finalists this year all exemplify the innovative, can-do spirit that has made Massachusetts a global leader for the past three centuries," said MassTLC CEO Tom Hopcroft. "We applaud Toast for their contribution to the Massachusetts ecosystem.” Winners will be announced at the annual MassTLC Leadership Awards Gala on September 14.
