The restaurant industry needs our help. Currently, 15 states and the District of Columbia have enacted precautionary legislation that has restricted operating hours, slashed capacity limits, and forced closures upon restaurants, bars, breweries, wineries, and nightclubs.


Rally for Restaurants is a grassroots movement started by Toast, built from a need to support the restaurant industry through an incredibly uncertain time. 


To join the movement, simply buy a gift card to your favorite restaurant. By doing so, you'll support a small business in desperate need of short-term financial support and help to kickstart the local economy after a period of extreme uncertainty.


Here's what to do:

  • Search for your favorite restaurant
    Or your mom's favorite restaurant. Or your partner's favorite restaurant. Or your kids' bus driver's favorite restaurant.

  • Buy a gift card
    Think about it: You could cross everyone off of your holiday shopping list in MARCH.

  • Take a picture of your gift card and share on social media
    Let the world know which restaurant(s) you've supported on social media and make sure to tag your post with #RallyforRestaurants

  • Challenge a friend
    Tag 2-3 friends in your post to encourage restaurant goers far and wide to support the industry now, when they need it the most.
