Frequently asked questions

With instant deposit, your restaurant’s card transactions (excluding American Express Direct transactions) will be deposited to your restaurant’s eligible bank account typically within a few seconds (may take up to 30 minutes in rare cases). In rare cases, they could be delayed by things like service interruptions of third parties outside of Toast's control. If you do not see your funds in your bank after 30 minutes, contact Toast Customer Care. You will receive an email once the transaction has been successfully sent.

  1. With instant deposit, your restaurant’s card transactions (excluding American Express Direct transactions) will be deposited to your restaurant’s eligible bank account typically within a few seconds (may take up to 30 minutes in rare cases).

  2. The maximum total amount you can instant deposit in a day is $10,000, with a maximum of 4 instant deposit transactions per user in a 24 hour period when depositing directly to a card. If you are new to instant deposit, or if you add a new debit card, the maximum daily transaction amount will initially be limited to $2,500, and will increase as you continue to use instant deposit up to the $10,000 maximum.  You may not make an instant deposit request for less than the available amount presented to you at the time. Each instant deposit transaction must be for the full available amount only (subject to applicable limits). This amount will be deducted from your ordinary settlement payout. The minimum amount for an instant deposit transaction is $25. Additional limits may apply as set by the bank that issues your debit card, including limits on the number of instant deposits you can initiate on a given calendar day.

  3. Toast Capital Loans are issued by WebBank. Loans are subject to credit approval and may not be available to borrowers in certain jurisdictions. WebBank reserves the right to change or discontinue this program without notice.

  4. Based on Toast internal data from 1/1/24 to 10/31/24 among restaurants using Toast Payroll. Individual results will vary.

  5. Only purchase transactions processed through the Mastercard network are eligible for cash back rewards. Ineligible transactions include transactions that are not processed through the Mastercard network, cash withdrawals, peer-to-peer debit transactions, refunds, or any transaction that is not consistent with lawful use of your Toast Checking Account. We reserve the right to modify or terminate this rewards program at any time.
