Toast IQ is Toast's built-in AI assistant for restaurants and retailers, included with Toast POS. Use it to ask questions about your business, understand what's happening, and take action faster, all from within Toast.

You can ask about sales, labour, menu performance, guest trends, discounts, voids, upsells, and plenty more. For example, try asking what's shifted in sales this week, which items are performing best, or where labour and sales are out of step.

More than insight. Toast IQ can act on it too. The specific actions depend on your products, data, and permissions, but might include updating items, adjusting stock, marking items out of stock, editing the rota, or setting up upsells. Nothing happens without your confirmation.

Toast IQ uses your Toast data to answer your questions and provide relevant insights. Your business data is not used for general model training, and customer data is not mixed with other customers’ data.
