Coming Soon: New Takeout and Delivery Quote Time Settings
This month, we're updating the Takeout and Delivery settings page to make it easier to set quote times. Quote times show guests when takeout and delivery orders will be ready, and control when orders fire to the kitchen. With this update, you can set your quote times manually, based on order volume (kitchen capacity), or based on the order price. View your quote time settings.
New Search Bar in Toast Web
Now when you login to your Toast account you will find a new search bar at the top of your homepage. This new search bar will help you find the page you are looking for more quickly!
We’ve created a new page to make it easier than ever to manage your POS Orders Screen. Now, rather than visiting multiple pages to make updates you can do all right in one place with more intuitive settings.
We are excited to announce that we are rolling out two highly requested new features for Toast Order & Pay:
KDS Text Message Notifications
You can now send order fulfillment text message notifications specifically for Order & Pay orders to let guests know their order is ready. This is a great feature for QSRs and Counter Service style restaurants that use Order & Pay to allow guests to order from the table without having to rely on runners to bring out the food. Server Assignments for Order & Pay
Previously, all Order & Pay orders were automatically assigned to the same “virtual server” as Online Ordering from the auto-firing device. With server assignments, you can now assign servers to tables on the POS at the start of each shift to make managing orders and tips much easier. This feature is rolling out with the 2.48 Toast POS release, and should be available to all customers within the next week! Learn more here!
