Herb and Beet

Spring, TX

Herb & Beet is an independently owned, fast casual restaurant serving farm fresh made-to-order food, opened in Woodland, TX in June 2018 by husband and wife team Josh and E’Leece Lorey. Their kitchen line, customer experience, and workflow were built from the ground up with Toast’s technology in mind, making use of multiple KDS terminals, handhelds, a self-ordering kiosk, and Toast’s payroll and analytics tools to maximize efficiency and provide unique customer-facing pizzazz.

Dempsey's Brewery

Watertown, SD

The tight-knit team at Dempsey’s Brewery in Watertown, SD is a well-oiled machine. Most have been on staff for the last 5 years, while others have worked at Dempsey’s Brewery for 10 years! Between an annual highway cleanup, chamber of commerce and visitor bureau support, #publife, and charity/collab brews, this family-focused work environment encourages community engagement both with guests and with each other.

The Livery in Benton Harbor, MI is a craft brewery, pizzeria, and live music venue committed to helping their community wherever they can, in any way they are able. Whether through their monthly Earthworks artists series, or weekly community nights that have seen The Livery partner with a total of 37 different organizations in 2019 alone, or through donating proceeds of an always-on-tap collaboration beer to a local arts center, they work tirelessly to make an impact on local community programs.

Founded in Austin, TX in 1998, Mobile Loaves & Fishes food trucks aim to provide food, clothing and other life-sustaining items to homeless men and women. With over 5.5 million meals served, Mobile Loaves & Fishes is the largest prepared feeding program to the homeless in Central Texas. Their cooking program provides a way for men and women who have experienced homelessness to earn a dignified income by applying their culinary skills.
