These FAQs apply only to certain eligible Toast customers that purchased a Starter Kit through Toast’s website. 3. Do I get a debit card with a Toast Checking account?

  • Yes, the debit card typically arrives 7-10 business days after opening an account. It also comes with unlimited 1% cash back on eligible* debit purchases.

4. What kind of account is Toast Checking?

  • Toast Checking is a business bank account and comes with a business debit card. Your primary account and any Jars have account numbers and a routing number, so you can use those for ACHs and wires. The Toast Checking Account is a checkless bank account that does not issue any physical or digital checks.

7. What documents do I need to apply for a Toast Checking account?

  • It takes a couple minutes to apply—most customers won’t need any documents. In some cases, customers may be asked for documents to verify their identification (like a government-issued ID) and address (utility bill, bank statement, etc.).

8. I needed to upload documents. When can I expect my Toast Checking application to be reviewed?

  • If you needed to upload documents, the application review should take 1-3 business days. However, sometimes it can be quicker, so keep an eye on your inbox!

  • It’s an added layer of security to make sure your Toast account is set up safely. You’ll need government issued identification and a quick facial scan using your device.
