*Instant Deposit is a service offered by Toast, Inc. With Instant Deposit, your restaurant’s card transactions (excluding American Express transactions) will be deposited to your restaurant’s eligible bank account in just a few minutes after you make the request – typically within 30 minutes.
**Toast will deposit the refund into the bank account you have on file with Toast within 30 days of you receiving an instant deposit into your primary Toast Balance Account. Customer must satisfy all applicable terms and conditions to be eligible to receive refunds. Promotion may be modified or canceled at any time.
***Toast is not a bank. Banking services provided by Thread Bank; Member FDIC. The Toast Balance Account Debit Mastercard is issued by Thread Bank pursuant to a license from Mastercard Inc. and may be used anywhere Mastercard is accepted.

Is there a limit when using Instant Deposit with a new Toast Balance Account?
If you update your card to a Toast Balance Debit Mastercard that has not been used before, the maximum available amount will be less than the previous maximum to help protect you and your business from fraud. It will increase as you use instant deposits with your new Toast Balance Debit Mastercard up to a $5,000 daily maximum.
The limits for any previous debit cards you were using for Instant Deposit will not be affected.
When will I have fees reimbursed?
Your Instant Deposit fees will be reimbursed within 30 days.
Does the Toast Balance Account have monthly costs?
No, the Toast Balance Account does not have monthly costs! There is no cost to apply or to open a Toast Balance Account.
Can I change my Instant Deposit to go to a different debit card?
If you no longer wish to deposit into your Toast Balance Account Debit Mastercard, you can change the debit card on file on the Instant Deposit dashboard. However, you will not be reimbursed for any fees incurred unless you are depositing into your Toast Balance Account Debit Mastercard.
Can I transfer money out of my Toast Balance Account?
Yes, you can transfer money through ACH, or outbound wire (outbound wires have a fee). Outbound ACH transfers typically take <1 to 3 business days, but transfer timing depends on the schedule of the bank receiving funds.
