This policy affirms that Toast will support its products 3 years post its standard warranty, after which point, you may continue to use the product, but it may not perform at Toast quality standards. When your Toast product reaches its Product Lifetime Policy (PLP), we encourage you to upgrade to one of our newer product offerings.
What should I update my restaurant’s outdated device too?
Right now, restaurants with hardware reaching its lifetime limit, have early access to our new Toast Hardware. We encourage you to take advantage of this upgrade so you can run your operations 3x faster than you are today.

Can I recycle in my current outdated hardware for newer products?
Toast does not currently have a recycling or replacement program for product lifetime policy products. You can purchase a new product once your existing device reaches its lifetime limit. At this time, you are welcome to send us back your Elo V1 hardware but we cannot provide monetary compensation and/or discounts for this exchange.
