On Friday, August 7, we experienced an outage that impacted Toast Online Ordering and other products. We apologize for the lapse in service and have already taken steps to ensure this does not happen again.
In recognition of the disruption, we will provide a three-month credit for Toast Online Ordering to your account.
All Toast Online Ordering users as of August 10, 2020 will receive this credit. No further action is required.

Here are some commons questions related to your August 2020 credit for Toast Online Ordering.
Do I qualify to receive a three-month credit for Toast Online Ordering?
All users of Toast Online Ordering as of August 10, 2020 will receive this credit. This includes Toast Now users and restaurants serviced by Toast Reseller Partners.
How will I receive my three months free of Toast Online Ordering?
You will continue to see “Online Ordering” listed on your monthly statements. Your credit will be applied based on your Toast billing schedule.
If you are billed monthly: A credit equal to three months of Toast Online Ordering will be added to your Toast account. You will see this credit reflected on your next Toast invoice after August 31, 2020.
If you are billed annually: A credit equal to three months of Toast Online Ordering will be added to your Toast account on or before August 31, 2020. This credit can be applied toward your next purchase of Toast hardware or on an upcoming renewal.
If you are financing your Online Ordering subscription: We will make a refund deposit in your checking account equivalent to three months of Toast Online Ordering on or before Sept 30, 2020.
Do I have to do anything to receive the credit?
No. The statement credit equal to three months of Toast Online Ordering will be automatically applied to your account if you qualify. No action is required of you.
How much will the credit be for?
The credit will be equal to the amount you have paid for Toast Online Ordering in the past three months. If you received free months of Toast Online Ordering as part of a promotion in the past three months, you may not receive a credit as the amount paid is $0.
I work with a Toast Reseller Partner. Will I receive the credit?
Yes. All existing Toast Online Ordering users, including those serviced by Toast Reseller Partners, will receive a three-month credit for Toast Online Ordering. If you are not currently using Toast Online Ordering, please work directly with your Toast Reseller Partner to sign up.
